Consultation and Certification

As an Approved EMDR Consultant and member of the EMDR Consulting Team, I offer consultation for EMDR Certification.

Consultation is available for professional counselors and social workers wanting to pursue an EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) Certification, or who would like to continue with consultation beyond the initial 10 hours.

These professionals range from students in master’s programs to more experienced counselors. They often work with a wide range of clients affected by trauma. Their aim is to master the EMDR skills necessary to integrate EMDR into their clinical practice.

After the initial 10 hours of EMDR consultation, clinicians must then complete an additional 20 hours of consultation. Of these 20 hours, a minimum of 10 hours must include individual consultation. Additionally, they must participate in 50 EMDR sessions with a minimum of 25 clients.

As an EMDR therapist and consultant, I have worked with all ages and have experience treating early childhood, children and adults, sexual abuse, PTSD, perinatal care, homelessness, and general counseling. I have used EMDR therapy to successfully treat young children, and even infants, who have experienced trauma. I offer group and individual consultation by phone and video throughout the USA and Canada. Participants do not have to be pursuing EMDR Certification to participate in these consultations. They may simply want to deepen their skills or have a client with whom they would like some help. Rates: Rates for group consultation are $45 and $120 for individual consultation.
