Find Healing, Wholeness, & Peace With EMDR Counseling
No matter when we seek help, we can always heal.
Helping families in Idaho regain emotional wholeness after experiencing trauma or distress in the perinatal period with virtual counseling and supervision
Sweet Peace Perinatal Well-Being exists to virtually help women and children in Idaho emotional wholeness after experiencing trauma during the perinatal period, or the weeks before and after giving birth.
When you experience traumatic events, such as painful labor, a pregnancy loss or stillbirth, you might feel confusion, anger, grief and loneliness like you have never known.
While up to 34% of women are reported to have had traumatic childbirths, the body often heals on its own from such difficult and stressful situations.
But, sometimes we need help.
Along with trauma, other struggles like infertility, bonding concerns, postpartum depression, adoption or health problems can also cause unresolved trauma…even years later. If you have experienced any of these hardships, EMDR therapy can help.
Let’s have a conversation, so that you can learn more, voice concerns, get any questions answered and carry less of this heaviness into the future, as you prepare to heal.
Hi, I’m Tory!
Welcome to the online home of my boutique and personal practice that curates a unique and custom experience for you, my client. This is not your typical traditional counseling.
Pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood are profound and exciting life-changing events. I’ve been there and have personally experienced how EMDR brings healing and wholeness again. We can all use a little help along the way – especially when life doesn’t go as planned.

“Trauma is personal. It does not disappear if it is not validated. When it is ignored or invalidated, the silent screams continue internally heard only by the one held captive. When someone enters the pain and hears the screams, healing can begin.”
